I would like to welcome you all to my website www.anubhavbakshi.com. And my heart is filled with gratitude for your support for my new venture.
When I published my first book ‘Retribution - The Hunt For A Traitor,’ I was made to believe that the next logical step in marketing the book is to create an author’s website. And as any first-time author, I jumped at the idea of my website and using it to promote my published work.
But as I immersed myself in the process of creating a website, I started looking at it as more of an engine to create something much more than a marketing tool. I did not want it to be just a sales pitch for my book. I wanted it to be something more. I wanted this website to act as a bridge between my readers and me. I want to create a bond of knowledge, discourse, and ideas. I wanted this website to be a platform where thoughts and ideas can be exchanged.
There are a lot of times when I have certain ideas and thoughts that I want to share with everyone, to get inputs, to elaborate upon them. And I am sure you all must have the same experiences too.
So let’s open this channel and allow an influx of thoughts and ideas and let’s create an atmosphere of creative & erudite communication. I want my newsletter to be more than one-way communication.
I want all of you to write to me with your thoughts and we shall discuss them and I shall also try and incorporate some of them in my newsletter.
